Thank you for choosing Broadview Networks as your DSL Provider.  At the time of your DSL service appointment,

a technician completed the installation of your DSL Router at your place of business.  Your DSL Router serves

as your gateway to the Internet.  Below is some general information about your setup:

Your DSL Router’s default configuration is as follows:

·      Dynamic IP address assigned to WAN interface.

·      Allows up to 253 IP addresses for your internal use with Network Address Translation (NAT) enabled

·      Port Address Translation (PAT) Supported

·      DHCP Server Enabled. (This means your DSL Router automatically assigns IP Addresses, see range below)

·      DHCP Pool, IP Address Range:  Range starts from 192.168.0.2 through 192.168.0.20 (This feature

works only when your computer workstations are setup to automatically obtain an IP address.)

·      Default gateway – 192.168.0.1

·      Subnet Mask – 255.255.255.0

·      Primary DNS Server – 64.115.0.9

·      Secondary DNS Server – 64.115.0.10

·      Domain Name – broadviewnet.net

Additional Information:

·         Manually assigning Ip addresses – If you wish to manually assign ip addresses, you can use any ip address outside

of the DHCP Pool starting from 192.168.0.21 through 192.168.0.254.  You will also need to manually assign the default gateway,

subnet mask and DNS Servers as listed above.)

·         Cabling – When connecting the DSL Router to a Hub, Router or Switch usually a category 5 crossover cable is required,

if that does not work check with the manufacturer on what type of cabling is needed. When connecting a pc directly to the

DSL Router use straight cables.

·         Important!        Broadview Networks does not provide technical assistance configuring premises computers or local

·         area networks (LANs), nor with their wiring. Please contact your IT Support Person or Vendor.  If you require changes

·         to the existing configuration of your DSL Router contact Customer Support and a Customer Support Representative will

·         submit your request to a DSL Analyst.
